In an attempt to make my alphabet letters more consistent with each other, I felt the need to thicken the legs on letter A. The changes are shown in green. I haven’t woven this option yet, but I believe it will look fine.

For the outline pumpkin it’s OK to use high contrast yarn. I think the Fall Banner will look better with solid-fill patterns than outlines, but this Pumpkin Outline might be useful for other purposes.
The Pumpkin Outline is a more natural pumpkin shape, not uniform from side to side.

I’ve already announced this on the Facebook Pin Loom Weaving Support Group, but here is the first set of instructions for the FALL WEAVE-ALONG.
If all goes according to plan, we’ll be using a 4″ x 4″ loom to weave 12 squares for a Fall Banner. In fact, it will actually be 15 squares since we’ll need to make the “hanging sleeve” as well. (Hopefully it’ll still be fall when we get done.) This is the design idea in it’s infant state:

In honor of Flag Day on 14 June, here’s a pattern representing the USA flag. It’s my intention to continue the weave-along (WAL) by posting patterns for the Union Jack and, while not strictly a flag, a maple leaf for my neighbors to the north. We’ll wind up the WAL with another patriotic pattern (possibly something French for Bastille Day, 14 July).
