If you want to build your own pin loom(s), my husband designed a number of templates in various sizes with the “standard” 1/8-inch spacing. He has also included some with different space measurements between the pins (see individual patterns for pin spacing information).
If you’ve wanted to try Two-Layer Warping (2LW) patterns, but are intimidated by the complicated 4″ patterns, this size might be a good place to start.
This tutorial demonstrates how to weave in the two-layer warping (2LW) manner and end up with four signature Weave-It scalloped edges. It’s just as easy as regular 2LW (if that’s any consolation), so don’t feel intimidated. (The first method I came up with was way, way worse!)
This pattern is adapted for two-layer warping (2LW) from the Hearts and Diamonds Overshot pattern.
