While working on Diamond Dabs for the 4″ loom, I thought the overall pattern might show up better on a larger square. Then, while test weaving it on the 6″ square, I decided it would look a little more interesting with an optional variation.

You can weave this pattern with or without the optional U3 stitches (shown below in pink). The sample has them added as shown on the diagram.

This is a close-up of the O2, U1, O2 (rows 2, 5, 8, 11…) stitch combination. It looks a bit different, but it works.
