Shout out to Brian Whitley for naming this pattern; his was one that jumped out at me as I read, and stuck with me later on when I wasn’t at the computer. I had a hard time selecting a name from the many excellent suggestions made by the members of the Facebook Pin Loom Weaving Support Group. (I’d run out of ideas for names and had resorted to calling my new designs Uuuuh 1, Uuuuh 2, etc. “A Run on Diamonds” was formerly known as Uuuuh 4b.)
If you want four scalloped edges on your 2LW squares, please see this post.
It’s beautiful! Has anyone tried this pattern on a 6 inch loom?
Thanks! I don’t know if anyone else has tried this on a 6″ loom, but I haven’t. The pattern would have to be redrawn, maybe redesigned, for the larger loom. I don’t remember if I’ve designed any 2LW patterns for the 6″ loom.
Thanks Sue for everything you do! I really enjoy my little looms and I may give it a go in the future. I will weave up the 4 inch one first.
I’m thinking about trying a 6″ version, but it may take me a long time…
You’re welcome!
