By request—a few patterns for the 2″ square loom. Many of these were experiments, but you can play around with them too.

Even Rows: U1, (O2, U2) x 3, O2
Odd Rows: P

It would probably be better to P3 at the end of each row; this would result in a large band of plain weave at top and right edges. Reversing R2 and combining four squares (two of each) might make an interesting four-patch.

#6

R1: P
Even Rows: U1, (O2, U2) x 3, P2
Odd Rows: (U1, O3) x 3, P3

R1: P
R2-7: (U1, O3) x 3, P2
R8: P

#7 looks better on the back than the front.

#8 (Same as #6; shown in two colors)

#8 (Same as #6 for now)

Lovely!!

I was hoping you would get around to designing for the sweet 2″ squares.

Thanks

These were all designed in 2015, so what I’m getting around to is typing them up . . . I do have a few newer ones though, so I’ll get to those too. Sleep? What’s that?

Thanks! My 2″ loom is on its way from Wunderwag, and now I’ll have some ideas to begin with.

I hope you saw the blanket on the FB Pin Loom group. That’s another good idea for using 2″ squares.
