These patterns are old and medium old ones. I’ve rewoven some of the squares pictured here and have some much better photos. The white/yellow/”Rainbow Bright” variegated squares were for a baby blanket I made. They look good in the final project, but don’t show the patterns off very well. When I get around to it, I’ll update some of these photos.

Ladders

L1: BS “Dandelion”
L2-4: CSS “Rainbow Bright”

Ladders

R1: P
Even Rows: P2, U3, P3, U3, P9, U3, P3, U3, P2
Odd Rows: P5, O3, P3, O3, U3, O3, P3, O3, P5
R16: P

Lattice Squares

L1-3: CSS “Woodland Heather”
L4: mill end dark green (Photo shows square turned in wrong direction.)

CSS “Soft Green”

Lattice Squares

R1: P
R2: U3, P3, U3, (P5, U3) x 2, P3, U3

R4: Rpt R2
R5: P14, U3, P14
R6: U3, O3, U3, O5, P3, O5, U3, O3, U3

Lines and Os

L1&3: LH “Biscayne”
L2&4: CSS “Soft Pink”

Lines and Os

R1: P
Even Rows: (P3, O3) x 5, U1
Odd Rows: P4, (U3, P3) x 4, U3
R16: P

Long Diamonds amended version

L1-3: BS “Dandelion”
L4: CSS “Rainbow Bright”

Long Diamonds amended version

R1: P
Even Rows: P3, O3, U3, O3, P7, O3, U3, O3, P3
Odd Rows: U1, O3, P7, O3, U3, O3, P7, O3, U1
R16: P

Looks great in L1-3/L4 warping sequence.
This pattern would transfer well to a larger loom since each row has the same (offset) information.

Long Diamonds original version

L1-3: BS “Silk”
L4: CSS “Rainbow Bright”

Long Diamonds original version

R1: P
Even Rows: P3, O3, U3, O3, P7, O3, U3, O3, P3
Odd Rows: U1, O3, U3, P4, O3, U3, O3, P4, U3, O3, U1
R16: P

Because warp ends follow the path of least resistance, the even-row O3s—first and last (second and third/first and second warp ends)—twisted at the bottom and didn’t untwist till the top row. In the amended version this “bug” is corrected with P stitches (P7), however, this original version—in my opinion—is more visually interesting.

Long Pluses Variation 1 This variation is kind of stupid; just an unequal distribution of the row divisions from the original.
